I think advertising through either email or buying advertisement time from any major website would be a good idea.

Use Google AdWords... I love them for small projects because they only charge a $5 setup fee and you can pay as you go, starting and stopping your ads when you want, and no major commitment. Yahoo makes you start with like $800. Also Google give you great control ofver your ads and budget.
You can also post in computer forums for "beginners" the idea being to go where the potential customer is... not wait for them to find you.
