Who eva can help me with my algebra 1 homework will be hired with $$ pay as my new tutor?

please show work no im not tryna get u 2 do my homework ima gonna have my teacher check it and see if its right then i will start chooseing the best answer person as my new well paid tutor OH AND THOSE SLASHES ARE FRACTIONS THIS STUFF IS HARD!!!!

1. -4+1/3x=8

2.3/4m+3=-2

3. 8=11-2/3x

4. 12=1/8z-4

5.-9=3/5 c+2

6.7+1/2k=3

Who eva can help me with my algebra 1 homework will be hired with $$ pay as my new tutor?
1. -4 + 1/3x = 8 (I'm assuming you mean 1/3 times x)

Add 4 to both sides to get like terms on either side of the equation.

1/3x = 8 + 4

1/3x = 12

Now multiply both sides by 3 to remove the fraction.

x = 12*3

x=36 ANSWER.

2. 3/4m + 3 = -2 (again, assuming the problem is 3/4 times m and not 3/(4m)

Subtract 3 from both sides to get like terms on either side of the equation.

3/4m = -2 - 3

3/4m = -5

Multiply both sides by 4 to remove the fraction.

3m = -5*4

3m = -20

Divide by 3

m=-20/3 ANSWER.

3. 8 = 11 - 2/3x (again...2/3 times x)

subtract 11 from both sides to get like terms on either side of the equation

8-11 = -2/3x

-3 = -2/3x

Multiply by 3 to remove the fraction

-3*3 = -2x

-9 = -2x

Divide by -2

-9/-2 = x (the negative signs cancel each other)

x = 9/2 ANSWER

4. 12 = 1/8z -4

Add 4 to both sides to get like terms on either side of the equation

12+4 = 1/8z

16 = 1/8z

multiply by 8 to remove the fraction

16*8 = 1z

128 = 1z (you can drop a the coefficient 1 because dividing/multiplying anything by 1 does not change that anything)

z = 128 ANSWER

5. -9 = 3/5c + 2

Subtract 2 from both sides to get like terms on either side of the equation

-9 - 2 = 3/5c

-11 = 3/5c

Multiply by 5 to remove the fraction

-11*5 = 3c

-55 = 3c

Divide by 3

-55/3 = c

c = -55/3 ANSWER

6. 7 + 1/2k = 3

Subtract 7 from both sides to get like terms on either side of the equation.

1/2k = 3-7

1/2k = -4

Multiply both sides by 2 to remove the fraction

k = -4*2 (you can drop the coefficient 1 as before)

k = -8 ANSWER

Algebra is just a process, really. The goal is to get like terms on either side of the equation and take it step by step to get the variable on one side of the equation to be alone. Whatever you do to one side you MUST do to the other side.

Hope this helps
