Has anyone gotten D's and C's in college?

Hi...I'm a pretty straight A/B student and there's this Chemistry class that is kicking my ***. Right now I'm getting a 76% and that's with only one test. I have a feeling its only going to get lower. Please don't suggest a tutor, I just want some stories for people who can relate to make me feel better.

Has anyone gotten D's and C's in college?
you should be PROUD OF YOURSELF! you are doing WAay better then some people!

example MEEEEE lmao!

i hardly ever get A's i normally get between C's or B's, and yep i get a few D's too. but that doesn't mean i suck at everything at school. Im more of a creative type than a smart type lol.

Be thank full you are a smart person and doing better then some and have a better chance to achieve what you want in life. Just because you got 76% in chemistry doesnt mean its going to get worse, its only going to get worse if you let it. Dont give up!

You dont have to be good at chemistry to achieve what you want in life. Unless if it invovles chemistry lol.

If you dont understand or get confused in chemistry keep asking you professor to repeat it till you understand and get it completely stuck in your head!

One more thing, your doing way better then me in chemistry lol.
Reply:Dont worry, thats totally normal. I had straight A's in highschool and my maks dropped alot in university....Its totally normal
Reply:Yes I did, but I had a 4.0 for 2 Master's degrees!

So don't worry too much, just concentrate on doing your best.
Reply:The real quesiton is, has anyone gotten A's and B's in college...

I was at the top of my class in high school and I've gotten several C's at Georgia Tech, just don't get down and keep trying, get a good schedule and make sure you keep studying and trying! It's working for me, and a good grade here in there in an easy or hard class is a real motivator. Good Luck!!!
Reply:That is like me too. At my public University, the Science classes are graded on a curve so it was like you were competing with everybody. I sort of wished I took the lower classes at a community college and transferred them. I'm sure my grades would have been better. It's a tough environment and you have to give it your best.
Reply:omg, me too , i have the same percentage in chemistry 76, i am struggling in this class too , all i can tell you is , try to go and speak with your professor, you need to practice the questions in the book , and check your answers from the back, never give up on it. .. .do well in tests because it counts a lot from your grade
Reply:doesn't really matter - assuming you are not a sci or engineering major
Reply:I have all A's and a few B's in college, but I got a C in Italian. I still have a great internship lined up for this summer though!
