How can I improve myself..?

I'm earning all A's in every class except English. In English, I have a low C... :'(

Is there any tutoring program out there that anyone knows of that is able to help me out? I'm mainly failing with reading analyzation and writing essays. Oh, and I'm a freshman in High School.

Thanks in advance.

Here are some suggestions.

1. Speak to your teachers privately and ask them what you can do to make things better,

1. Have all of your materials ready and in the place that you are going to study.

3. Study when its quiet. No music, no TV, No headphones, no nothing.

4. Do your most difficult subject fist or else you may never get to it.

5. Keep a calendar so that you know when a project is due or a test is going to be given.

6. Vocabulary is very important. Words have different meanings. You need to know the meaning for the subject that you are taking.

7. Study the relationship of things. How is the topic that you studied related to the unit that you are studying?

8. Your textbook has hints for you. Many books have important words or phrases in darkened or colored type, make sure that you know them thoroughly.

The sites below are excellent and will give you many other ideas about studying.

Reply:First, decide what you really want to do. Do you want to achieve an A in English, or just achieve a pass rather than fail? Understand the teacher's expectations, and gear your results towards meeting those expectations. You will retain what is useful, and that is what will matter once you are finished in school. If you are getting A's in everything else that is awesome, and you are capable of that A in English as well. Good Luck, and never give up.
Reply:HI I AM A FREASHMEN 2 AND I HAVE ALL A'S AND ONE C IN MY MATH CLASS WHAT U DO IS FIND THE TEACHER THATS GOING TO HELP YOU AND STAY AFTER SCHOOL THATS WHAT IM DOING.
Reply:Well if that was happening to me, I would go see the teacher and ask him/her what they suggest to do. Also, at my school there is tutoring available after school for free, which is really good.
