I'm a 16 year old hard working girl that is having lots of trouble in Algebra 2. I'm one of those perfectionist types and always makes good grades. Well...until this class came around anyway. I'm making a D (possibly an F now) and I cant get into a college without making a C. Anybody have any advice?

I don't know, honey. You don't meet many people who speak algebra. I went and visited Algebranon and they didn't even speak it anymore. They only spoke Spanish.

Reply:Try posting a wanted ad on www.craigslist.com. You may be able to get a free tutor if someone is nice enough to spare their time. If you cant afford to pay someone, maybe you barter something you own in exchange for the person's time (under the barter section of same website).

Reply:go to your school counselor with your concerns, see what kind of assistance is available.
confront your parents with your problems and concerns also. You will feel better about them knowing about your problem with this class, and they will admire your character for admitting you have a problem and are seeking assistance - very grown up thing for you to do young lady-you have impressed me !
