Im having trouble with calculus ab ap any suggestions?

im not failing or anything but slowly my grades are declining from a's to c's ( test grades that is ) i have a good tutor and stay after school for help. i also study hard before the test but the past 2 tests i got c's. one of the tests i just forgot 1 concept which blew me off because related rates were worth a lot and i forgot the triangle concept but this past test i bombed the mean value theorm because i didnt know what to do when there was no C in the f(c)= part of the equation. i really want an A on the next test how should i prepare??!?! im a junior in high school. also if i pass the ap exam will i have to take this class in college?

Im having trouble with calculus ab ap any suggestions?
You need to do more drill on what homework you are assigned. Drill just means doing 2 or three times the homework you are assigned. What this will do is ingrain it in your memory so you don't forget. Also it increases your speed. Let the dummies have to stop and thing while you are working immediately. Most schools will let give you credit for calculus if you pass an AP exam, but you may not want to. Better to take an easy A in college to boost your cumulative point average than struggle with the harder math course you will have to take.
Reply:It's good that you have a tutor and are getting help after school. During the tests make sure to stay relaxed and if you are having trouble with a problem skip it and them come back to it later, or look for other parts in the test that can help you out. As far as taking the class in college it really depends on what school you go to and what you are majoring in. good luck on your next test!
Reply:mathematics is an exercising subject and even by reading or memorizing you cannot improve your situation. The best thing to start is with schaum series calculus.each chapter will be having brief introduction .Detailed solved exercise will be there.Read and follow it. close the book .take down the exercises alone , close the book .start soving it after 8 hours.then look at those solved problems and asses where have you gone wrong. If your score is good ,then go to the questions at the end and they may be similer and attempt it with a gap of an hour..After finisheng it look at the exercise answers provided at the book and clue provided.you will succeed to the great extent.even if you think that you know it slove all of them -every question continuously.again for the same chapter take from different books solved problems and solve it independently you will become an expert but never be over confident. for each problem-THE STEPS ARE:- 1.what is given, 2.what is asked,3what you should do ? write it down the steps and be confident. time again repeat the process of solving from different books -for correct answers, write down the steps now you will not only be become expert but also turn out to be the best teacher, by teaching others now you will become outstanding.Meditiation will add to memory and reduce your lack of confidence and tentions.GOODLUCK
Reply:Quit school and apply at McDonald's. You only need enough math to count how many burgers are left at the end of your shift there and you get a nifty hat.
